Affresol Modular Buildings are not advocating a ban on concrete or indeed any other products that are not sustainable. Indeed, Affresol Modular Buildings recommend you use concrete as the preferred base for our Modular buildings.
However, we cannot continue using “eco unfriendly” products in the present volumes without considering the climate change consequences.
Affresol Modular Buildings has embraced the need to make more use of recycled materials and need to have embedded sustainability designed into each building:
- The Steel frame can be fully recycled.
- The external wall system is made from TPR™ which is 100% recyclable.
- The Insulation is environmentally friendly.
- The timber for the roof and other timber are all from farmed certified sources.
- The Roof tiles are made from processed and recycled materials.
- Every Affresol Modular Buildings building is insulated to a very high standard thus reducing its carbon footprint.
